Lessons Learned in Finding Models

The “Real Models”, the ones that earn a living modelling, don’t usually like to model in the full nude–they prefer “nude implied”. So, they are usually a No Go. However, we found a few exceptions and they were absolutely amazing!

That means most of the traditional modelling sites are a No Go–a lot of effort for few bookings. As an exception, the sites like ModelMayhem that have good filtering certainly made this easier.

And, when I say “working girls” I don’t mean hookers… These are women already in the industry and usually coming from the world of Exotics dancers, OF girls and p0rn stars or starlets.

I’ve run ads on Craigslist with about a 25% success rate (1 out of every 4 responding girls are photoshoot material). There is a lot of SPAM to weed through; but, it becomes fairly obvious after a few tries.

Then there are sites like fetlife and sexyjobs with a typically lower success rate. But, the ones that do respond are generally more likely good candidates.

Chicago just isn’t a p0rn hub like LA or Vegas or Miami… So, it’s simply more difficult to find quality talent.
